Description

The person in this role will be tasked with achieving the BD goals for India by closely working with the India team as well as autonomously developing and managing strong relationships with strategic partnerships in particular in the digital telco and ISP space.

Role & Responsibility
·         This individual will be responsible for business development, primarily related to PC/Mobile Internet Access partnerships, for Yahoo! India properties and verticals.
·         Investigate strategic opportunities, formulate recommendations and action plans, and help execute the plans by closing partnership deals with various Telco/ISPs on their Internet offerings (Broadband, Data card dongles, WiFi, GPRS, 3G, BWA)
·         Support various teams & businesses within Yahoo! India to drive alliances & partnerships with Telcos and ISPs in line with business goals.
·         Partner through strategic thinking to bring interests of both parties aligned.  Translate strategic thinking into executable partnerships, negotiate complex terms with third parties, and drive closure on the legal agreement.
·         Singular ownership of nurturing existing business partnerships and ensuring that intended benefits of the deals continue to be delivered.

Skills
·         Proven experience to run and close partnership deals, atleast one end to end deal closure experience
·         Understanding of working environment of Telco Mobile Internet and Broadband teams
·         Experience of working with and handling govt Telcos will be a plus (BSNL)
·         Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Internet and deep understanding of the different media environments and consumers across the 4 screens (mobile, tablet, PC and TV)
·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence in multi-functional environments
·         Strong business judgment, and analytical skills
·         Prior experience in strategic planning, project management, contract structuring

Job Description

Description:
The Manager of InsideSales is responsible for day to day supervision of the Inside SalesRepresentative staff.  This role isrequired to drive, monitor and report inside sales activities. The Managerwill also lead a retention team which is responsible for subscription renewalof YSB customers with high focus on reducing churn.

Major Responsibility Areas:
-         Interview, hire, coach, mentor and develop thestaff into a high performance team.
-         Publishing Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly SalesDashboard to the Director
-         Handle Sales quota of > 15 Million INR in aquarter.
-         Setspriorities and serves as subject matter expert for Yahoo! India Small Businessproduct suite and client requirements.
-         Establishes and maintains good workingrelationships with YSB Sales, Customer Support, Engineering and MarketingOrganization.
-         Monitors performance of inside salesrepresentatives through call monitoring and other measures to ensureutilization and efficient service.
-         Manage the Inbound and Outbound Telesales teamby appropriate KRAs and Metrics.
-         Leads by example through the effective displayof personal and professional integrity.
-          Provides developmental opportunities,delivering feedback and coaching to Inside Sales staff.
 
RenewalsSales :
-         Ensure QoQ Renewal percentage growth of YSB customers.
-         Ensure high contact rate.
-         Develop strategies to reduce churn byproactively identifying risk accounts.
-         Assist the Director in setting quotas and forecastingrevenues for Renewals.
InsideSales:
-         Develop strategies to generate and increasehigh quality leads from Online ( Website ) and Inbound ( Toll Free Number )mediums.
-         Map 360 degree view of complete Sales cyclefrom Lead generation to On-boarding.
-         Constantly coach the team on handling salesobjections and maximizing conversions.
-         Assistthe Director in setting quotas and forecasting revenues from Inside Sales.
-         Ensures the achievement of sales quotas andgoals.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications and Skills Required:
-         Bachelors Degree, Engineering ,  IT/Computer Science preferred
-         Total 6 to 8 yrs of exp , out of which 3  years experience in Sales/Account Managementrequired, preferably in an internet  orTechnology Organization.
-         Strong leadership, people management, and teambuilding skills necessary. Previous supervisory or management experiencepreferred.
-          Workingknowledge of outbound and inbound telesales, basic marketing principles andpractices.
-         Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
-         Proficiency with MS Office Programs, such asExcel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
-         Strong organizational skills and the abilityto exercise judgment in prioritizing tasks in order to meet schedules anddeadlines.
-         Strong analytical skills. Ability to identifyproblem areas, trends, opportunities and take appropriate action.  Aptitude for evaluation, problem solving,planning, and organization.
-         Persuasive skills to cut through the organizationaldependencies and reduce turnaround time.
-          Knowledge of the sales and customer lifecycle.
-         Basic knowledge of electronic payment gatewayslike CCavenue and Credit Card is a plus.
-         Prior experience of handling SMB andEnterprise customers is a plus.
-         Knowledge of Yahoo! Small Business or anyother Web Hosting/Ecommerce platform is a plus.
