Job Responsibilities:
·         Translate product requirements into functional specifications and build software that meets those requirements.
·         Work with and coordinate activities with other Yahoo! teams that provide data or services.
·         Contribute to the continual improvement of our Agile development processes
·         Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes and code

Minimum Job Qualifications:
·         BS in Computer Science with 6+ years of job experience
·         Demonstrated software design and development experience
·         Solid experience in Core Java / C++
·         Strong Design Skills and end to end product development.
·         Development skills in PHP and Perl (good to have)
·         Strong knowledge of XML handling
·         Familiarity with web services, especially REST
·         Demonstrable skills and experience in building large-scale, high-volume websites
·         Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·         Experience with Agile development methodologies.
·         Experience working with in a Linux environment
·         Familiarity with SVN, and bug tracking tools is highly desirable.
·         Team player with strong collaboration skills to work with various cross functional teams
·         Web 2.0 savvy and eager learner who stays on top of fast moving internet technologies.
·         Demonstrated experience with using the MySQL database a plus
